Barry Bonds

Well, he finally did it. Barry Bonds hit his 756th homerun yesterday, breaking the record Hank Aaron had taken from Babe Ruth. I’m not sure how I feel about it, since “they” say he did it with steroids. I’m kind of boycotting the Giants right now, after their decision to rehire Bonds for many millions. It’s not like Bonds had that much power in him anymore to justify the like twentymillion they spent on his one-year contract. But, steroids or not, it’s still an accomplishment.

There’s probably copyright on this, but whatever. I lifted it off the Yahoo website.

I wonder how long he gets to keep the record: Yankee player Alex Rodriguez has already hit 300 homeruns.
(Just like that Roman guy, Cato, that added: “and furthermore it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed” after everything he said, I need to add “Yankees suck!” to this. It’s one of the things I agree with the Red Sox about. The other one is how great Fenway Park is.)
