priorities, anyone?

Republicans take action after SEC agency staffers were found to have spent hours looking at porn instead of policing the nation’s financial system.

Why do we care they were looking at porn? It seems to me the point is that they weren’t doing their jobs, not exactly how many images they downloaded onto government computers. They could be reading Twilight fan fic for all I care – the fact that a senior officer spent up to eight hours a day not working is the important part here. I know, I know, the idea that someone is looking at porn in a public office somewhere is, well, icky, but I doubt it warrants this much attention…
